I’m an author with a passion for romantic science fiction, blending the imaginative worlds of George Lucas with the nuanced romance of Jane Austen. Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, I spent my summers in Mexico, where I often felt alien and out-of-place. Both are central themes in my debut young adult science fiction romance novel, THE EVOLVER, set to release on September 26, 2024.

 My real writing education came from writing and performing sketch comedy at the Second City in Hollywood, where I learned that the best type of comedy is the heart-filled kind. I carry that lesson into my writing, aiming to create stories that are both entertaining and emotionally resonant.

I currently live in Sedona, Arizona, a place that inspires the otherworldly landscapes in my stories, with my husband and our two cats—Forrest Wolverine Binx and Emilio, the Elder Statesman.
